Women often tell me that they are suspicious of the person they are either dating or in a long term relationship with. My answer is usually there will be signs that you are being cheated on, until you have proof or solid signs it’s not good to jump to conclusions. So if you haven’t outright caught him with another woman, what are signs that he could be cheating on you. I’m going to go through 5 major signs, which will help you understand whether your suspicions may be justified
- He hides you
A man that loves you, wants the world to know that you are his woman and no one else can have you. He wants you to meet the people that are closest to him, because you also matter to him and he wants to make sure that you are part of his inner world. Often men will introduce a woman to their family and friends to get their opinion on her too, because he sees long term potential in you. Either way, the fact that he wants to blend you into his inner circle is a major signs he loves you or is falling in love with you. If he hasn’t done this, its because he doesn’t see a future with you. He doesn’t want to ruin his chances with other women so he doesn’t want to give anyone the impression that you are together. He also doesn’t want his nearest or dearest to know about you because he doesn’t want to have to explain the casual temporary position you have in his life.
2. His stories don’t add up
When you ask him questions or asking about his life or even just his day, he will tell you things that either contradict with each other or if he tells you one story today, he will tell you a totally different story a few months down the line. If his answers are changing every time you ask the same questions then it’s a major sign hes lying to you and things are just not adding up. Hes clearly hiding something, its just unclear what that is, it could or could not be a secret relationship, either way if this sign fits with other signs then you have more cause for concern.
3.He doesn’t want to be intimate with you
If you’ve ever heard, he doesn’t want it for me anymore, because hes clearly getting it from somewhere else, then that saying is there for a reason. When a guy that was once all over you suddenly start being too tired, distant and lazy to have sex with you, then 9 times out of 10 its because he is getting the sex from somewhere else. Yes a guy could be tired after a long day of work, but if its happening on a regular basis and hes avoiding sex as much as he can or you feel like you have to initiate the sex, its usually because he Is getting it from somewhere else so his physical needs are already being met so he doesn’t need you to meet them.
4. He starts to stay late at work
Or he doesn’t want to spend weekends with you, when you have been relegated down to some weekdays and late nights only. Or he doesn’t even want to spend evenings with you anymore. If youre in a financially comfortable position, then it doesn’t always make a lot of sense for a man to be working the extra hours. Often the reason that he is “working late” or too busy for you is because he is spending that time with someone else.
5. He attacks you or shifts blame and suspicion on you
When a man is blaming you when you are talking to him about things that may not be adding up for you, it is often because they have something to hide and are trying to shift blame on you so the guilt and suspicion wont be on him. in fact sometimes men will start blaming you for cheating on him out of the blue even though you have done nothing wrong, this could just be insecurities or it could be that he wants to put you on the back foot, or he thinks you’re cheating because he is.
All of these signs must be taken with a pinch of salt, just because you see some signs from this list, doesn’t mean he’s definitely cheating or that you should confront him. in fact confronting him will just make him defensive. Instead keep you eyes open until you have a lot more proof.
