Ifeel like a failure..
As we move into more uncertain times, people are feeling at an all time low. Its important however that we take care of our mental and physical health at times like this so If you’ve ever felt like you are a failure and a loser in life, I’m here to tell you 3 reasons why this way of thinking about yourself if totally wrong.
1. Failing at something that you were forced to do or didn’t even like is not true failure.
For example you have received bad grades at school and think that you are a failure, that you’re not smart enough or you can’t do anything right. If this is the case, let’s look at a Garry vee. He was failing at school by getting D’s and F’s, the whole school system classified him as a loser who wouldn’t amount to much, however he is one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the world right now. The reason that he was failing at school was because he just wasn’t interested in it!

2. You were pushed/pressured into doing something and have always struggled with it.
This is more of an old fashion approach, which works for some, but not for everyone. For example my mum played basketball at a very high level and recalled that during matches thousands of people were watching whilst the coach would bully, curse and make fun of his own players in order to get them to play better and because no one wanted to be bullied in front of the crowd they would work extra hard. This approach is terrible for two reasons. Being cursed at and embarrassed especially in front of others will make someone upset to the point where they will either stop playing and sit themselves out, or it will start to impact their self-worth to the point that they will feel like the biggest loser and will give up altogether. Feeling this way about yourself is completely wrong because you need to understand that it’s not you who are bad, a failure or a loser, it’s the terrible tactics that have been used on you to break you down psychologically. They have impacted you to the point that you don’t feel motivated or worthy of even trying, or if you do you always think you’ll never be good enough. You are good enough, those who push you and bully you in to performing are the ones who are losers and need to work on themselves.

3. The people around you make you feel like you’re not good enough.
You might be surrounding yourself with a crowd that you don’t belong in, for example there is a very good saying that if you try to teach a fish how to climb a tree it will grow up thinking it’s stupid.
Likewise, if you are in a crowd where people have an old fashion mindset and work from 9 to 5 and you want to be a social media entrepreneur, but everyone around you says it doesn’t work and you should get a “real job” and that you are dumb. Remove yourself from this crowd and surround yourself with like-minded people.
This post is not about blaming others. People have their own reasons for why they behave the way they behave, it’s not about changing them, it’s about self- awareness, taking responsibility for yourself and taking action. You are not a tree, you can move.
